Gus Sverkos

DJ & founder Gus Sverkos has produced over 500 weddings and special events over the last 20 years. Born to Greek immigrant parents and raised in Long Beach, California, a subsequent “Melting Pot” of cultures and ethnicities, Gus was exposed to a variety of musical genres growing up. Consequently, his love for Greek music has been matched by his passion for appreciating and continuously discovering new music from across the globe. Whether it's Deep House, Funk, 80's, 90's Hip hop, or Cumbia, his love for music has kept him a very busy DJ over the years.

Armed with astute musical taste, deft DJ skills, and undeniable enthusiasm, Gus’ DJ sets have received well deserved acclaim. His style references that of a nightclub DJ, pulling from a variety of genres, while simultaneously accommodating his client’s visions, paying particular attention to their unique cultures, customs, and taste; his aim is not to lead congo lines or do the chicken dance but to fulfill the expectations of his client while keeping the dance floor full.
